This solo double bass is a gamba shaped model with walnut ribs and a walnut flat back that help to create a very powerful sound.
The pictures shown are taken from an instrument with a King David head made in 1986 after a double bass by François Gaviniès (Paris 1757) found in the Musée de la Musique in Paris.
